• Oversee food preparation and beverage service to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met or exceeded.
• Utilize POS systems such as SPOT ON for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
• Supervise kitchen and bar staff during shifts, ensuring smooth coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
• Monitor inventory levels regularly; place orders for supplies; manage food production processes including catering and banquet services when applicable.
• Conduct staff interviews, performance evaluations, and manage disciplinary actions to foster a motivated and professional team environment.
• Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings; implement strategies accordingly.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness throughout the venue in accordance with NYC DOH health regulations.
• Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction remains a top priority.

Experience

• Proven management experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment, preferably with bar casual dining or fine dining backgrounds.
• Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary operations, and food industry best practices.
• Hands-on experience with POS systems such as SPOT ON ; strong cash handling skills.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a positive work culture through training & development initiatives.
• Familiarity with inventory control procedures, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food safety management protocols.
• Prior experience managing hospitality teams in fast-paced settings like quick service or full-service restaurants is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead staff confidently through shift management and managerial communication channels.
